Getting started

You're probably asking yourself, "What next?"  It's not as difficult as you think.

  • Visit the "Frequently Asked Questions" (FAQs) in this website for helpful information for beginners.

  • Review our Schedule of Classes and decide which classes fit in best with your busy schedule.  Two to three classes per week is a good start.

  • Contact Kyoshi Mackay at 646.761.0683 or Kyoshi@MidtownKarateDojo.com to talk about any questions you may have.  We can also set up a time for an informal visit to the dojo.

  • Observe one of our classes or visit the class video page.  This will give you an excellent idea as to whether we are what you are looking for.

  • Sign up!  Any instructor can take care of the paper work.  You do not need a gi (uiniform) to begin; just bring loose-fitting sweats and the desire to learn.
