TOTW - Avoid Injury/Recover from Injury
Onegai Shimasu Hanshi, Kyoshi, Sensei, Sempai, and fellow Deshi,
Get to class early and stay late. Warm-up with personal exercises or any of the various exercises from Building Warrior Spirit (the Green Book) including half speed and power Kata. Stretch prior to official USRKUSA warm-ups. Stretch again at the end of class. Find out what your body needs. Seek out advice/help from your favorite Sensei or Sempai. If needed, get a second opinion from doctors, physical therapists, chiropractors and /or yoga instructors. It is your body. Learn what makes it strong. As Hanshi says, Research this well.
