Onegai-shimasu Hanshi and Kyoshi,

"We join spokes together in a wheel, but it is the center hole that makes the  wagon move," Lao-tzu. 

Just a simple phrase that can be applied to many 
situations i.e. kata is the center hole that allows karate to move forward or Master Ueshiro is the center hole and the shihan are the spokes of the wheel and so on..., 

In Shorin Ryu karate we are fortunate to have such a good 
foundation to grow on.
