The cover positions in our basic blocks must protect the area(s) under attack. It is not enough that our arms finish in the correct position. For example, when performing a high block, our forearms need to cross in a position in front of the nose. Common errors for this block include crossing the arms in front of the chest or chin and/or scooping one or both arms up from the waist or chest.
