Scanning with the eyes
When doing any
of the neck stretching exercise with your head, try to
concentrate on keeping the eyes open and "scanning" with
the eyes.
When you turn your head side to side or up and down, remember to
keep
the eyes open and gain awareness of your surroundings.
This is just one practice you can use to focus on the Gan principle...
For myself,
I know that there are times on the deck where I lose
focus, am not aware, or lower my eyes. I focus on the Gan principle
to
correct this error.
