Onegai shimasu Hanshi, Kyoshi, Sensei, Sempai,
Some days getting to the Dojo is impossible. Work or family demands can sometimes make it difficult to make class.
When you cannot make it to the Dojo, the key thing is to KEEP TRAINING. When traveling, always bring a Gi, and see if there is a SRKUSA school nearby. If not, you can train anywhere - hotel rooms, your back yard, the parking lot, the hotel gym. Wherever it is, just keep practicing the Karate.
It's surprisingly easy to do a full workout with warmups, basic techniques, Kata and stretching in a very small amount of space.
Of course, nothing can replace working out in the Dojo with your Sensei and other Deshi, and it's important to get to class often. But, for those times when it's impossible, don't stop doing Karate just because you can't make it to the Dojo. KEEP TRAINING.
Arigato Hanshi,
Kyoshi, Sensei, Sempai!
