Dissecting the Moves
Dissecting the moves of a kata into two or three counts for each move
enables us to explore our footing..our chambering..the height difference
of the stances.. and the delivery of the strike or block.
This is an excellent method of training/understanding the many
aspects of the techniques of the kata.
Research this well.
