EXPRESS YOURSELF
Karate is a way to express
oneself. If we are having a "bad" day we can always release ourselves and our
emotions through Kata. We practice Karate so we do not have to "fight". Karate
brings together many different people and personalities. When we workout in a group each
person receives the energy of the others in the class. We are then able to better
ourselves and use this energy peacefully in our daily struggles in life, including
"post holiday blues". However Karate is more than a concept, it has to be
"lived". That dynamic living begins in the dojo and manifests itself in
the "home, workplace or street". This weeks technique is
"borrowed" from an anonymous student(s). Arigato,
